Buffalo Trophy

It is made of a shaggy fur with velour horns and leather nostril and eye patches.. Like all our trophy puppets, they are hand crafted, so no two are ever exactly alike.

Did you know? Enormous herds of bison, also called American buffalo, used to roam the plains of North America, until they were hunted to near extinction in the 1800s. Their numbers are now increasing in the national parks and preserves, and on private ranches where they are raised for meat and hides. Bison are the heaviest land animal in America and can weigh a ton or more. Bulls can measure 6 feet at the shoulder. Both male and female bison have horns and large humps. The cows usually have one calf in the spring, born a light reddish brown without horns or a hump.
